This webinar will discuss the system-wide causes of over-crowding and boarding. This is a hot issue now with many emergency departments across the country. It is also a focus of accreditation organizations such as The Joint Commission in their patient flow standards and patient flow tracer. Safety in Boarding has been the focus of many organizations such as ACEP, ENA and Urgent Matters. This webinar will cover the consequences, and what can be done to protect the patient and improve flow. Discussion will include the steps needed to move the institution forward to embrace solutions to crowding.
